Concert: Heimatsounds & Chor International Potsdam

For the first time you can join a combined concert of the intercultural music group Heimatsounds and the Choir International Potsdam. Both groups celebrate international music and love to sing in different languages e.g. Arabic, Greek, English or German. Heimatsounds and Choir International Potsdam stand for a lively intercultural community and society. It’s gonna be a bright bright sun shiny evening.

Due to the current situation, the following safety and hygiene regulations apply:

1. A medical mask must be worn when entering and leaving the premises, when going to the bathrooms and also when standing in line for catering.
2. You must be recovered, vaccinated or tested in order to attend the event. Proof of this must be presented at the entrance.
3. Your contact details will be registered at the entrance for tracking purposes (Corona app, Luca app or handwritten). Your data will be deleted after 14 days.
4. Please keep your distance of at least 1.5 meters throughout the entire event area. At the seating area, this distance is reduced to 1 meter (2 free seats) between different parties.

Erstmalig erleben wir ein gemeinsames Konzert der Heimatsounds und des Chores  International Potsdam.

Mit Liebe widmen sich beide Ensembles internationaler Musikkultur in u. a. den Sprachen Arabisch, Griechisch, Englisch und Deutsch. Sie setzen sich für eine lebendige interkulturelle Stadtgemeinschaft und Gesellschaft ein. Das wird ein bunter und herzlicher Abend mit Liedern aus aller Welt.

Eintritt frei / Um einen freiwilligen Austritt wird gebeten.

Aufgrund der aktuellen Situation gelten folgende Sicherheits- und Hygienebestimmungen:

1. Beim Betreten und Verlassen des Geländes, beim Aufsuchen der Toiletten und auch beim Anstehen für die Gastronomie muss eine medizinische Maske getragen werden.
2. Es gilt die „3G-Regel“: An der Veranstaltung kann nur teilnehmen, wer genesen, geimpft oder getestet ist. Ein entsprechender Nachweis ist beim Einlass zu erbringen.
3. Am Einlass werden Ihre Kontaktdaten zum Zwecke der Nachverfolgung aufgenommen (Corona-App, Luca-App oder handschriftlich). Ihre Daten werden nach 14 Tagen wieder gelöscht.
4. Im gesamten Veranstaltungsbereich gilt eine Abstandsregel von 1,5 Metern. Am Sitzplatz reduziert sich dieser Abstand auf 1 Meter (2 freie Plätze) zwischen den Infektionsgemeinschaften.

Heimatsounds
The intercultural music project Heimatsounds has been offering everyone a place to meet and make friends at the Waschhaus Potsdam since 2016. Every Monday evening, Heimatsounds make music, sing, play and dance songs from different homelands. Heimatsounds regularly take their musical enthusiasm out onto the streets and places of the city of Potsdam, performing at city festivals, at the Refugees‘ Club of the Hans Otto Theater, and at the Begegnungscafé Babelsberg. In addition, the project deals with multicultural identities and, in cooperation with schools, artistically and intellectually with the topic of home.

Das interkulturelle Musikprojekt Heimatsounds bietet seit 2016 im Waschhaus Potsdam allen Menschen einen Ort der Begegnung und Freundschaft. Jeden Montagabend musizieren Heimatsounds, singen, spielen und tanzen Lieder unterschiedlicher Heimaten. Regelmäßig tragen Heimatsounds ihre Musikbegeisterung auf Straßen und Orte der Stadt Potsdam hinaus, treten bei Stadtfesten, im Refugees‘ Club des Hans Otto Theaters und im Begegnungscafé Babelsberg auf. Außerdem beschäftigt sich das Projekt mit multikulturellen Identitäten und in Kooperationen mit Schulen künstlerisch und gedanklich mit dem Thema Heimat.

Chor International Potsdam (CIP)
The name of the choir is program. The community is correspondingly colorful: young and old, international, multicultural, modern and classical. The choir wants to offer a musical home for old and new Potsdamers. The songs come from all over the world and are mostly sung in the original languages. The enthusiasm for music and the love of diversity is what unites the choir.

Der Name des Chores ist Programm. Entsprechend bunt ist auch die Gemeinschaft: Jung und Alt, international, multikulturell, modern und klassisch. Der Chor möchte für Alt- und Neupotsdamer*innen eine musikalische Heimat bieten. Das Liedgut stammt aus aller Welt und es wird meist in den Originalsprachen gesungen. Die Begeisterung für die Musik und die Liebe zur Vielfalt ist, was den Chor vereint.
