Concert: Mellow Mark

Mellow Mark is a veteran of German-language reggae. Right at the beginning of his career he gets the music award Echo (2003) for the newcomer for his debut album „Revolution“. Only two years later follows the German Reggae Award (2005).

From then on, Mellow Mark tours, gives countless concerts on large, medium and small stages. He gains the respect of the audience as a stand-up musician with a confident stage presence and a huge repertoire.

A spectacular One Mellow Band with guitar, foot drums, looper and various accessories leads us concertgoers through the songs of the total of eight albums and takes us on a trip through the metamorphoses of a traveling, ever-changing artist. Multilingual multitasking: intercontinental, colorful and danceable. The audience is embarked, on a journey around the world, sometimes thoughtful, sometimes critical and full of empathy, at the latest when the audience is asked the timeless question in Mellow’s most famous song: „What’s up with love?“ – They already know how to answer!

Mellow Mark has toured the world with the Goethe Institute, singing in English and Spanish as well as German.

In 2017, he caused a stir when he surprisingly appeared as ONE MAN BAND on The Voice of Germany. 2018 saw the release of his last album for the time being, entitled „Nomade“, and 2019 saw the release of his first English single „Stay Humble“, which also featured Nadja Benaissa from No Angels. He looks back on many collaborations, including Gentleman, Patrice, Culcha Candela. His songs have been played on the radio in more than 30 countries.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Mellow Mark has been working as a paramedic.

Mellow Mark tourt fortan, gibt unzählige Konzerte auf großen, mittleren und kleinen Bühnen. Er verschafft sich den Respekt des Publikums als Stand-Up-Musiker mit sicherer Bühnenpräsenz und gewaltigem Repertoire.

Eine spektakuläre One Mellow Band mit Gitarre, Fußschlagzeug, Looper und diversen Accessoires führt uns Konzertbesucher durch die Songs der insgesamt acht Alben und nimmt uns mit auf einen Trip durch die Metamorphosen eines reisenden, sich ständig wandelnden Künstlers. Mehrsprachiges Multitasking: interkontinental, bunt und tanzbar. Das Publikum wird eingeschifft, auf eine Reise um die Welt, mal nachdenklich, mal kritisch und voller Empathie, spätestens wenn dem Publikum in Mellows bekanntestem Song die zeitlose Frage gestellt wird: „Was geht ab mit der Liebe?“ – Sie wissen schon, wie sie antworten können!

Mellow Mark war mit dem Goethe Institut weltweit unterwegs, singt neben Deutsch auch Englisch und Spanisch.

2017 sorgte er für Gesprächsstoff, als er überraschend als ONE MAN BAND bei The Voice of Germany auftrat. 2018 erschienen sein vorerst letztes Album mit dem Titel „Nomade“, 2019 seine erste englische Single „Stay Humble“, bei der auch Nadja Benaissa von den No Angels mitgewirkt hat. Er blickt auf viele Zusammenarbeiten zurück, u. a. Gentleman, Patrice, Culcha Candela. Seine Songs wurden bisher in mehr als 30 Ländern im Radio gespielt.
Seit Beginn der Pandemie arbeitet Mellow Mark als Rettungssanitäter.

Aufgrund der aktuellen Situation gelten folgende Sicherheitsbestimmungen: Am Einlass werden Ihre Kontaktdaten zum Zwecke der Nachverfolgung aufgenommen (Corona-App, Luca-App oder handschriftlich). Ihre Daten werden nach 14 Tagen wieder gelöscht. Im gesamten Veranstaltungsbereich gilt eine Abstandsregel von 1,5 Metern. Am Sitzplatz reduziert sich dieser Abstand auf 1 Metern (2 freie Plätze) zwischen den Infektionsgemeinschaften.
